@fromjason “Migration” is a good word, here. Changing to a new platform isn’t just one farmer pulling up stakes and planting them elsewhere. It’s trying to move a complex social graph of relationships, which always gets damaged in the process. Similar things happen to a society fleeing climate change change or oppression, so “migration” may not even be a metaphor.
